2003 – present, private rented sector landlord with a portfolio of rental properties let, t/a Vegan Investments more recently as Vegan Investments Partnership (VIP).
2011+ began working formally with and for property investors also with peer landlords buying and selling investment property in South West Wales.
2013+ renewing a pre-existing membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, Michael became involved with helping a Swansea Transport Charity and he has maintained links with this organisation.
2015, awarded Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing arising out of work done for a project that involved promoting a new invention.
Michael uses his marketing toolbox now principally to broaden the sale and purchase opportunities for client property investors and homeowners.
2020+ The pandemic changed the game for business, not just in the UK but across the world. Now, and since its public launch on 30 November 2022, small business access to Generative AI has been the game-changer to keep abreast of. Michael has been taking CIM-accredited training in AI since December 2023/ January 2024.
2023 brought the enactment of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act complicating regulation of the Welsh Private Rental Sector (PRS). This is being followed in England in 2025 by the Renters (Rights) Bill.
TODAY: With challenges come opportunities. Many landlords are exiting the market. Michael is offering a consultancy service (see the consultancy page) and he is working also with partners to serve at various points in the market.
