2011
It was 2011 when Michael began working formally with and for property investors also with peer landlords buying and selling investment property in South West Wales.
2013
It was 2013, and Michael was consulting on property to a Transport Charity when he renewed his pre-existing membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport. This project promoted the goal of improving transport links in South West Wales.
The project, called Swansea 9 Lines, pre-dated the Olnwyn test track built locally to it and which is the largest light rail test track in Europe. And the project promoted such features as on-surface track which has come to be employed in the newly opened 2025 Coventry Ultra Light Rail service.
2015
Marketing work done by Michael in 2015/16 for the inventor of an energy efficiency device led to Michael being invited into Affiliate Professional Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. And this awards Michael the badge you see on the right:
2024
Michael has since January 2024 taken advantage of, and keeps updated with CIM-accredited training in the use of Generative AI.
The Present
Working with and for property buyers and sellers is what Michael loves to do and he loves nothing better than when he can dissolve problems for them, helping them past stumbling blocks. And where he can aid them using a long list of tools and his contacts. He has long been of the philosophy that in an ever shifting market you can’t know everything but you need always to know where to go for help.

Training
Michael has trained from the very start of his property investing career in 2003 with the best classical, private property investment trainers working in the UK in the training academies of Whitney UK/ Tigrent and Legacy International.
Since 2015, he has studied under—and now works alongside—one of the world’s leading experts in structured property sales and purchases. Bringing him on board can not only help resolve challenges, but often improve the outcome of even the straightforward transaction.

2023 brought the the Renting Homes Act to Wales complicating regulation of the devolved Welsh Private Rental Sector (PRS).
This is being followed in England by the Renters (Rights) Bill.
There is plenty of support for tenants in these new regulations but little for landlords.
With the help of partners and with support from the Welsh Government, Michael has been behind developing the Landlords in Wales website project as a space to present opportunities and alternatives to landlords to help them survive better in the new more restricted Private Rental Sector.
A lover (and participant) of the creative arts and soft martial arts, Michael enjoys a natural health lifestyle. Having been mobile phone free since 2006 keeps him focussed and clear headed.
